The Government of Telangana is strengthening the state’s skill development ecosystem to create a job-ready workforce. The Telangana Government's Department of Employment & Training (DET), in collaboration with the CGG, organized a series of six sectoral Industrial Roundtables under the theme "Skilling Telangana for a Brighter Future", to bridge the gap between government skill training programs and industry needs.

These roundtable conferences covered a diverse range of sectors, including Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Construction, Life Sciences, Retail, IT & ITES, and Manufacturing.

Key objectives of this Industrial Roundtable Conferences are:

  • Strengthening Industry-Government Collaboration: Aligning skill development programs with industry needs and addressing skill gaps through active participation of industry associations and government bodies.
  • Promoting Industry-Led Training and Skill Development: Encouraging industries to play an active role in designing training programs, leading skill development initiatives, and recruiting skilled professionals.
  • Exploring Collaboration Opportunities: Identify key areas for collaboration, such as curriculum design, conducting job melas, and absorbing trained talent into the workforce.
  • Establishing Ongoing Dialogue and Continuous Engagement: Creating a structured platform for continual dialogue between industries, industry associations, and government to refine training content and evaluate the outcomes of collaborations
