Vaibhav Purandare has joined CGG in April 2015. He has over nine years of experience in the urban sector and engaged in research and consulting projects and training programs in the areas of urban governance and management in general and urban water management in particular for various state governments and some of the top‐notch organizations and institutes of national and international repute.
He was involved in various urban sector projects such as preparation of City Development Plans, Service Level Benchmarking (SLB) Framework, Municipal Finance Studies, Water Sector Reforms, Reform Appraisal, Rapid Training Programs, etc.
He is a post-graduate in Public Policy from ICFAI School of Public Policy, Hyderabad and holds a post-graduate diploma in Project Management from the University of Hyderabad. He has co-authored a paper on “Access to Domestic Water Supply and Women Empowerment – Experience from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh”. His key areas of interest are municipal finance, the role of public-private partnership in urban service delivery, service delivery to urban poor, etc.
