Mahesh Babu Terala boasts over two decades of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, with a solid educational foundation that includes a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications from Bapatla Engineering College, Nagarjuna University, and an MBA in Management Information Systems. Beginning his career at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in 2003, Mahesh advanced to senior roles, leading projects that significantly enhanced telecommunications services and infrastructure. He was pivotal at the Centre for Good Governance in Hyderabad during his previous tenure, managing datacenter and public cloud operations and hosting around 200 homegrown application, enhancing their performance, compliance, and security.
Mahesh’s expertise is vast and diverse, covering IT infrastructure management, where he excels in enterprise servers and storage, virtualization technologies, and advanced datacenter and cloud solutions. His proficiency extends to cybersecurity, with a focus on operations, compliance, governance, and risk management, ensuring robust security across multiple platforms. As a seasoned project manager, Mahesh is adept in strategic planning, vendor management, budgeting, and cost control, aligning IT initiatives with business goals and continuously driving improvements.
His commitment to professional development is evidenced by his numerous certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), TOGAF® 9, various VMware Certifications (VCA6-NV, VCA7-DCV), Commvault Certified Professional, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
