National Defence College Delegation Visits CGG for National Security & Strategic Studies Tour
A 15-member delegation from the National Defence College, led by Maj Gen Samarth Nagar, SDS (Army-III) – Faculty-in-charge, recently visited CGG as part of their study tour on National Security and Strategic Studies.
The session began with an insightful overview by Sri Rajendra Nimje, DG, on CGG’s impactful consulting assignments with the Government of India, various state governments, and its prime projects in the e-governance domain; CGG's key strengths, including its work in areas such as governance and reforms, digital transformation, and public policy research. Additionally, the CGGs previous engagements with the Ministry of Defence for preparation of Capacity Building Plans (CBP) were highlighted.
Mr. Karunakar Reddy, Program Manager, further shared valuable insights on the approach and the nuances involved in preparing the Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) for various Ministries; and the formulation of GGI and GRAI, shedding light on the detailed and complex processes.
The delegation also visited CGG’s state-of-the-art Data Centre, where Mr. Mahesh Babu, Senior Project Manager, explained its role in ensuring data security, reliable infrastructure, and efficient data management, with a special focus on cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and encryption technologies.
