IAS Officer Trainees of 2023 batch (Telangana Cadre) visit CGG
Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana is conducting a practical training programme for IAS Officer Trainees of 2023 Batch (Assistant Collectors Under Training) of Telangana Cadre. As part of this training program, seven IAS Officer Trainees visited CGG to gain a comprehensive understanding of CGG’s operations, its wide range of activities and its significant contribution in promoting Good Governance.
CGG organized a day-long knowledge-sharing session featuring engaging presentations by field experts. Mr. Y M Gopala Krishna, Associate Director, provided a holistic view of CGG's initiatives. Mr. Shabbeer Shaikh, Director presented on various knowledge and research projects, while Mr. Lokesh J, Senior Project Manager, discussed eGovernance applications and the use of emerging technologies in governance.
The program concluded with an inspiring session led by Sri. Rajendra Nimje, DG of CGG. He shared CGG's incredible journey and its significant projects in various domains of governance and e-governance. Sri. Nimje recounted his personal experiences as the District Collector of Khammam and Asifabad nearly 20 years ago, highlighting the challenges authorities faced in obtaining ground-level information from remote villages and the difficulties citizens encountered when traveling to district headquarters. He explained how eGovernance has transformed these situations, making information access and citizen services more efficient and accessible. He encouraged IAS Officer Trainees to actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving society, emphasizing that even small contributions can have a significant impact.
