Day 2, Jan 08, 2022: Breakout Session, Creating a Technology Innovation Ecosystem State Government of Telangana at NCeG2022
At the panel discussion, Sri Rajendra Nimje, DG, CGG explaining the uniqueness of CGG being the go-to Gov agency from concept to execution a single stop solution provider and a Govt. consultant who can provide support for development of Governance Index, policy development and evaluation, setting up of an PMU, Monitoring and evaluation works etc., and how CGG is an important and integral part of the Telangana Govt. IT&C ecosystem which works on IT policies, provides infrastructure for entrepreneurs and special IT parks and provide ITES services through public and private organizations.
He further provided deeper insights on Mana Isuka Vahanam (My Sand Vehicle) application, especially on how the application is being designed for citizens to have an experience of quick & hassle-free online purchase of sand duly eliminating dominance of sand mafia and generating huge sums of revenue for the Government also providing employment to large number of rural youth.
The panel discussion was chaired by Sri Jayesh Ranjan Prl. Secretary, ITE&C Dept., GoTS. The other panellists were GT Venkateshwara Rao, Comm EGov, MD, TSTS, Sri Sujai Karampuri, Director Electronics, GoTS and Smt. Rama Devi Lanka, Director, Emerging Technologies, GoTS.
