Celebrating Success in Health Governance!
The Human Development Resource Group (HDRG) of CGG recently organized a luncheon meeting with DG, CGG to reflect on the success of the Professional Development Programme titled "Strengthening Capacity for Health Sector Governance" for 54 Block Program Managers/Account Managers/Data Managers under the National Health Mission in Odisha.
This comprehensive program aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in health sector governance, interpersonal skills, citizen-centered attitudes, and professionalism regarding NHM initiatives. The managers also had the opportunity to gain practical insights during an exposure visit to Telangana, where they observed the quality, coverage, range, affordability, and management of health services, with a specific focus on NHM initiatives.
During the meeting, DG, CGG shared his valuable experience as a Collector nearly 30 years ago, highlighting how his small yet impactful interventions led to the establishment of award-winning healthcare ambulatory services, positively impacting thousands of people.
