Agreement between CGG & CIRDAP
Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, India and Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), an intergovernmental organization of 16 countries based at Dhaka, Bangladesh have entered into an agreement to enhance mutual cooperation in research, consultancy and training in the areas of mutual interest. CGG would impart training to CIRDAP nominees of member countries in the areas of agriculture, rural development, organisational development, ICT solutions in governance etc. The institutes shall jointly bid for action research and consultancy assignments of the World Bank, UN and other international funded projects in India and abroad in the areas of expertise on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
The agreement was signed by Shri. K. Ramakrishna Rao, IAS, Director General, CGG and Dr. Cecep Effendi, Director General, CIRDAP on 3rd December, 2015 at CGG.
Dr. P.K Mohanty, IAS (Retd.), Executive Chair, CGG and Dr. Cecep Effendi, Director General, CIRDAP exchanged the copies of the agreement. Shri. Devi Prasad Juvvadi, Director, Agriculture Management Resource Group (AMRG), CGG and Dr. Vasanthi Rajendran, Director – ICT & Training, CIRDAP were also present.
