78th Independence Day celebrations at CGG
On the occasion of India's 78th Independence Day, Sri Rajendra Nimje, IAS (Retd.), Director General, Centre for Good Governance, hoisted the National Flag at CGG’s Gachibowli Office premises. He was accompanied by Sri Sangram Singh Patil, IPS, ADG, as well as Directors, Associate Directors, Project Managers, Managers and other employees of CGG. In his speech, he extended warm greetings to all CGG employees, emphasizing the true meaning of freedom. He paid homage to the sacrifices of numerous freedom fighters, valiant soldiers, armed forces, and police who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the motherland. He also highlighted India's journey toward progress, spanning from the economy to technology, and its commitment to comprehensive freedom.
As India moves towards becoming a "Viksit Bharat," a developed nation by 2047, which was the theme of this Independence Day, he emphasized the role of inclusive growth, the importance of technology, and the need to address and mitigate the impacts of climate change. The inclusive policies of the Telangana Government were acknowledged and praised. He provided detailed insights into CGG's accomplishments across various divisions, underscoring their expertise in policy formulation, such as the Gig Workers Policy and Mining and Minerals Action Plan for the Government of Telangana. The eGovernance Division's advancements in process improvement and the provision of high-end solutions to various user departments were also prominently highlighted. He wrapped up his speech with a mesmerizing rendition of the beautiful and patriotic song 'Jahan Dal Dal Par Sone Ki Chidiya Karti Hai Savera’.
The event concluded with a ceremony during which accolades were bestowed upon the Best Project Manager, evaluated based on parameters such as total project cost, value of work done, receipts, process improvements, etc. A recognition certificate was awarded to the Senior Project Manager and the team working on Praja Palana, and prizes were distributed to the winners of the various sports and games organized by CGG as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
