Key Responsibilities:
• Java Application Development:
o Develop, test, and maintain Java applications and components using
frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE.
o Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on project
requirements and business needs.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design
solutions.
• Backend Development:
o Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to interact with front-
end systems.
o Manage data persistence using relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
o Ensure the application's performance, scalability, and security are up to industry
standards.
• Testing & Debugging:
o Write unit tests and conduct debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
o Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by QA or production environments.
• Code Optimization and Maintenance:
o Continuously improve application performance by identifying and resolving
bottlenecks.
o Refactor code and implement best practices for long-term maintainability.
o Monitor and enhance the stability and functionality of existing applications.
• Collaboration & Communication:
o Work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and QA engineers to
deliver high-quality products.
o Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews as part of an
Agile development process.
o Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers.
• Documentation & Reporting:
o Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and
workflows.
o Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including potential risks and
issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Java development with solid knowledge of object-oriented
programming principles.
• Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and web services integration.
• Database knowledge: Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) databases.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
