75th Republic Day Celebration Highlights
CGG marked the historic 75th Republic Day with an inspiring celebration, beginning with the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag by Sri Rajendra Nimje, DG, CGG. The air resonated with patriotism as the attendees joined in a soul-stirring rendition of the National Anthem.
Dr. Murdula Nimje, with her captivating voice, cast a spell on the audience with "Aye mere watan ke logon," leaving an indelible mark on the event.
The celebration gained momentum as a young trainee in software development shared her insightful thoughts on the significance of Republic Day.
Insightful speeches followed by Director Sri Shabber Shaikh and Associate Director Ms. Jyothi highlighted the essence of Republic Day, culminating in a poignant address by DG, CGG. He paid homage to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and valiant freedom fighters, delving into the real meaning of Bharat as the Mother of Democracy.
Reflecting on the pillars of the Constitution, DG emphasized the importance of checks and balances, acknowledging challenges and positive consequences. His visionary outlook compared India's system with other nations, emphasizing the positive direction in roles and responsibilities.
DG's vision for the next 25 years focused on inclusive development, addressing education, health, livelihood, and infrastructure growth. Embracing innovation, emerging technologies, and investing in reskilling and upskilling were emphasized as key growth factors for the quarter-century ahead.
He further elaborated that at CGG, the dawn of a new government has not only renewed trust and faith but also positioned CGG as the key implementing agency for undertaking eGovernance projects crucial to the successful implementation of the government's schemes and programs. CGG’s active role in the transformative Prajapalana program in Telangana exemplifies its commitment to bridging the gap between the government and citizens. Further, CGG's involvement in policy-making, governance, and impact assessment studies across states and at the Centre are sources of pride.
In his concluding remarks, he emphasized focusing on the opportunities that the next 25 years offer. The youth, with their potential and energy, will shape the future of India.
The event ended with a prize distribution ceremony for the various games and sports organized by CGG as part of Republic Day celebrations.
