VISIT OF INTERNATIONAL DELEGATION A team of 27 members from 23 countries visited CGG, Gachibowli office to understand various e-Governance projects implemented by Center for Good Governance. The team representing 23 countries from South East Asia, South America, Eastern Europe, Afro-Asian Countries and the Middle East visited on 28th October 2013.
The delegates, most of who were Govt officials from their respective countries heard from the CGG team members about the nature of work the organization engages in and its areas of focus and specialization – both in the Knowledge and IT sectors.
The delegates later engaged in an interactive session with the CGG team and showed keen interest in some of the e-tools which can be useful for their country. Some of the delegates expressed interest in working closely with CGG for developing such e-tools in their countries and were appreciative of the kind of action research that has been undertaken by CGG.
The visit was organized as a part of the International Training Programme on Good Governance for Management of Rural Development Programmes (Sponsored by Min. of External Affairs, Govt of India and organized by NIRD) in Hyderabad from 21 Oct to 17 Nov 2013.
