77th Independence Day celebrations at CGG
On the occasion of India's 77th Independence Day, Sri Rajendra Nimje, Director General of Centre for Good Governance hoisted the National flag. In his speech he extended warm greetings to all CGG employees, emphasizing on unity and freedom. He paid homage to the sacrifices of numerous freedom fighters and highlighted India's journey towards progress, from agriculture to technology, and its commitment to comprehensive freedom. He shared the multi-faceted approach to achieving this, which involves equal access to basic needs, promoting social justice, legal reforms, freedom of expression, digital rights protection, women's empowerment, environmental sustainability, civic participation, and more. As India moves towards becoming the world's third-largest economy, the need for inclusive growth was stressed, particularly for marginalized communities. The inclusive policies of the Telangana Government were acknowledged and praised. He highlighted that the theme "Nation First, Always First" signified the importance of national unity for a stronger India.
He provided detailed insights into CGG's accomplishments across diverse divisions, underscoring their expertise in index design and grievance assessment. The eGovernance Division's advancements in process improvement and the provision of high-end solutions to various user departments were also prominently highlighted.
The event concluded with a ceremony during which accolades were bestowed upon the Best Project Manager, the Best Process Improvement Team, and the members of the Testing and QA team for their remarkable contributions. Furthermore, prizes were distributed to winners of the diverse sports and games organized by CGG as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
