Sri Rajendra Nimje, DG, CGG conducting a session on “Emerging Technologies for Good Governance”, as part of the Special Foundation Course for 112 Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Indian Economic Service (IES) Officers
As part of the Special Foundation Course for Central Civil Service Officers, Sri Rajendra Nimje, DG, CGG offered profound insights on Emerging technologies for Good Governance to 112 Trainee Officers (Indian Statistical Service – 86 officers and Indian Economic Service – 26 officers).
Sri Nimje opened the 90-minute session by outlining the different phases of digital transformation, beginning with eGovernance, continuing with m-Governance, and emphasising the "Game Changer" – Emerging technologies. He discussed the myriad range of potential applications (use cases) for each emerging technology (Ai, Blockchain, Drones, IoT, Big Data and Cloud), as well as its advantages and important implementation recommendations. He shared his first-hand knowledge & experience on the technology-wise use cases being pursued as projects & PoC in CGG. He wrapped off the session with a summary on CGG’s Vision & Objectives, its journey and the numerous accolades garnered over a period of time.
The on-going Special Foundation Course for Central Civil Service Officers is being administered by the Dr. MCR HRD Institute, Hyderabad.
