TOMCOM launches Te-Migrant Worker Mobile app

Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM) has launched a Mobile App for assistance to migrant workers who travel abroad. The options in the mobile App are provided in 3 languages.  Migrant worker information including family members and foreign employers will be updated in the system. One of the app's key functions is that the grievance can be submitted through voice message, for those who cannot type their grievance; Grievances received by TOMCOM will be assigned to Embassy/Police based on the grievance category. A real-time Dashboard is provided for the officials to know the status on the received/pending grievances. The Mobile app was launched by Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, IFS, Secretary (CPV & OIA), MEA, Govt. of India at an event held at the RGIA’s Migrant Help Desk. The event was attended by Smt. I. Rani Kumudini, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Labour, Employment Training and Factories, Govt. of Telangana, Sri Rajendra Nimje, ex-IAS, Director General, Centre for Good Governance (CGG) and other officials. The mobile app is designed & developed by CGG.
