Independence Day Celebrations – 2017
On the occasion of on the 71st Independence Day, Shri Rajendra Nimjee (Ex-IAS), Director General of Centre for Good Governance, Hyderabad had hoisted the flag in the Main Building, Jubilee Hills. In his speech he mentioned about the struggles and sacrifices made by thousands of freedom fighters, starting with M.K. Gandhi and Bhagat Singh made for the country. He also mentioned about the army which is taking care of our country by doing their duty against external and internal threats. He mentioned that with an advance in the area of ICT, Technology, we also have issues of unemployment, poverty to tackle. With regard to CGG’s contribution to the world, Mr Rajendra Nimje in his speech had mentioned about cost effectiveness, competitiveness, and competency of CGG in the market. He mentioned that CGG was on its own from the past fifteen years .
DG had mentioned that new areas of collaborations are being explored with UNICEF. In the Agriculture area, Drafting of policy for Agriculture for Govt of Telangana and Animal Husbandry are in process. In the e -Governance area, ePASS has crossed Government of Telangana Boundaries, and CGG has done successfully in AP, Tripura, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh & Jharkhand. Online entrance test has been successfully completed in AP & Telangana. CGG has executed “Evaluation of Implementation of e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project/ State Specific ICT initiatives” over 33 States/ UTs in India for Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India.
CGG has taken up Aadhar link services for attendance system, for all departments of Telangana , and are looking forward to working in Financial Management area as well. He mentioned that each citizen should pick up habits which can contribute to the betterment of the country – like keeping surroundings clean. He urged all the parents to strive for the holistic development of the Children, to have a good career in the field of their interest, and also make each child a good citizen
