The Centre for Good Governance in collaboration with the OECD Korea Policy Centre is organising the International Conference on 'eGovernance for India: Opportunities, Challenges and Policy Alternatives' during 6-7 November 2013 at the Hotel Trident, Hyderabad.
The conference aims to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by India’s current eGovernance scenario, share OECD member-states’ experiences on implementing e-Government policies and enable knowledge sharing between OECD and Indian policy makers on overcoming eGovernance challenges.
The conference will have participation from OECD HQ Paris, OECD Korea Policy Centre, senior officials of Government of India, Secretaries of Information Technology from Indian States, Industry representatives engaged with eGovernance solutions and reputed members from the Civil Society Organisations and academia.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. P.K.Mohanty, IAS, Chief Secretary to Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Ms. Park Ji Hyun,Senior Economic Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Korea to India. Dr. Sam Pitroda, Advisor to the Prime Minister of India on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations and the Chairman of National Innovation Council and Mr. J. Satyanarayana, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India will deliver their keynote addresses through video conference.
